Context

The renewal of STOW International HQ combines the renovation of existing office spaces with a new-build extension. Completed in 2019, the project creates a contemporary working environment that balances openness, functionality and comfort, while reinforcing the relationship between office and production.

The extension is strategically positioned to provide views towards the adjacent production facilities, making the connection between design, management and manufacturing processes tangible. The spatial organisation consists of bright open-plan office floors, complemented by enclosed meeting rooms and flexibly divisible auditoriums for training and events. Informal lounge areas and centrally positioned kitchen and sanitary cores support efficient daily use.

A skylight dome brings generous daylight deep into the building, while acoustic lamellas ensure visual and acoustic comfort. Durable, low-maintenance materials, with matte black accents and bespoke joinery in warm wood tones, define the interior. Transparent glass partitions and solid elements are carefully combined to offer openness without compromising privacy.
